The PLA Southern Theater Command Conducts Readiness Patrols in the Territorial Sea and Airspace of China’s Huangyan Dao and Its Surrounding Areas

  3月29日，中國人民解放軍南部戰(zhàn)區(qū)組織海空兵力位中國黃巖島領(lǐng)海領(lǐng)空及周邊?？沼蜷_展戰(zhàn)備警巡。黃巖島是中國固有領(lǐng)土。3月份以來，戰(zhàn)區(qū)部隊海空兵力持續(xù)加強黃巖島領(lǐng)海周邊?？沼蜓策壘?，依法依規(guī)開展跟蹤監(jiān)視、警告驅(qū)離，有力有效應(yīng)對各類侵權(quán)挑釁行徑，堅決捍衛(wèi)國家主權(quán)安全，堅定維護南海地區(qū)和平穩(wěn)定。

  On March 29, naval and air units of the PLA Southern Theater Command conducted readiness patrols in the territorial sea and airspace of China’s Huangyan Dao and its surrounding areas. Huangyan Dao is an inalienable part of China’s territory. Since March, naval and air units of the Southern Theater Command have enhanced readiness patrols in the territorial sea and airspace of Huangyan Dao and its surrounding areas, and carried out tracking, monitoring, warning and expelling operations in accordance with laws and regulations. Such patrols serve as an effective countermeasure to cope with all sorts of rights-violation and provocative acts. They are meant to resolutely safeguard China’s territorial sovereignty and uphold peace and stability in the South China Sea.
